About Matthew

Matthew Bryant Carver, born on August 21, 1977, in Seattle, Washington, lived a life marked by dedication, love, and passion. Raised in a loving family that eventually grew to include five siblings, Matthew’s journey took him across the United States, from Washington to Colorado, Alabama, and finally to Kansas City, KS, each move adding a new chapter to his rich story.

As the eldest of six, Matthew embraced the role of big brother, nurturing his siblings - Christopher, Karina, Alissa, Charisse, and Timothy - with an unyielding spirit of caring and guidance. He carried this deep-seated love for family into his own life, when he met his future wife, Crystal, at The Master’s College on the west coast. They embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship on June 23, 2001, in Santa Clarita, California. This bond resulted in the creation of their own beautiful family, with five children - Jadyn, Annalise, Elijah, Zechariah, and Lillian - each of whom inherited Matthew’s sense of love, grace, and determination.

Matthew’s dedication to education and coaching, his intellectual curiosity in theology and history, and his lifelong passion for music were the cornerstones of his remarkable life. His professional journey was a testament to his versatile skills and diligence, from his success in education and athletic coaching to his work in the field of information technology.
